Hi there! Welcome to my site.
My name is Olivia (she/her), and I am a Canadian performer, director and producer.
I hold a BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where I studied at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School and The New Studio on Broadway. I also hold a minor in Philosophy.
At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I co-founded Artists in Residence, a theatrical platform supporting artists' mental health by providing opportunities for connection and social engagement.
Driven by a love of collaboration and community building, I work to create spaces where artists feel supported, seen, and respected for their individuality. With every new project, I strive to embody a spirit of openness, discovery, and joy!
SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS
Olivia directed the Toronto premiere of SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS by Bess Wohl, presented April 8th - 10th at the Red Sandcastle Theatre in Toronto. The show was the inaugural live production from Artists in Residence, and enjoyed a sold-out run.
A collaboration between Artists in Residence and The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company, Olivia co-produced Unravel: A Virtual Monologue Slam Competition. The event featured young artists from across Canada, and included special guests Rachel Dratch (SNL), Jamie Elman (YidLife) and Ari Weinberg (WJT).
Olivia directed a production of 'The Storyteller' for the 2022 Hamilton Family Fringe Festival. This new family musical, with a book and score by Kathleen Mills, explores mental health and community in a joyful and accessible way.
